State officials will not return to test the waters of Little Alamance Creek until they know the cities of Burlington and Graham or the Department of Transportation have done something that would change the waters quality. We're doing a better job of cross-checking within the group, so that when you're writing the report it's reflective of the other guys you've seen. For everybody to see those guys, it's important so they're able to say, 'You know what? That guy over there is probably a notch ahead and if I had my druthers, I'd pick that one.' On the surface it can appear impossible to take a table bully down if you arent getting dealt good cards. Thats not quite the case though.

Aside from allowing an audience to marvel at the miracles of fat suits (Dale Calandra, who plays the obese Charlie at Victory Gardens, is nowhere close to that weight), there is the sheer force of an image wherein the main character of a play seems to wear his neuroses right on his body. 

You wouldn't say that "The Whale" was the breakthrough play for Hunter, who is just 31, hails from Idaho and studied at the University of Iowa. That title rightly belongs to his "A Bright New Boise."

"The Whale" (directed at Victory Gardens by Joanie Schultz) is not his only play in Chicago at present: LiveWire Chicago is staging his 2011 work, "A Permanent Image," at the Storefront Theatre. It is a moving piece about a family in crisis, and it sits on my list of recommended shows. 

But the main Chicago connection for Hunter is to be Victory Gardens, which just announced him as a new ensemble member. Soon, Florida's Internet cafes will become illegal. State lawmakers have voted to ban the gaming operations. Governor Rick Scott has until April 12th to sign the legislation, but what happens next for internet cafe owners and players?

Having said that, the Democrats are in control of the White House and the Senate, so it’s not like America has turned against Democrats and our ideas. The problem is something else. I’ve often chalked it up, in part at least, to a lack of political marketing know-how, or even an appreciation of the need for political marketing, among Democrats. Democrats often don’t know how to fight, at least in the policy realm (for elections, oddly, they tend to do better). You had the gay Netroots, Get Equal, Dan Choi and a number of ticked off current and former servicemembers, which included upstart groups like OutServe and Servicemembers United, and some mainstream groups like SLDN. And all of them were effective because they were willing to exert more pressure than is polite on the administration, and Congress.

Now, it’s an interesting question as to whether gender played a role here, going back to the question I was asked on Twitter, about whether the presence of men in the gay movement made a difference. According to Saudi Ministry of Labour data, around 2 million foreign workers are set to lose their jobs because of the strict implementation of Nitaqat. Apple's Rumored iWatch And Why It Matters

There is widespread speculation that Apple will introduce its own watch this year. The implications are substantial in terms of what the watch could be and what it could mean for Apples financials and stock price. The company has not announced anything regarding a new product; therefore, at this point, all discussions about the iWatch and its features are pure speculation. However, in the past, speculation regarding new Apple products has been more accurate than inaccurate so it warrants reviewing and assessing the implications.

Apple is reported to have over 75 patents on wearable technology. Some speculate that the iWatch will be a flexible glass snap bracelet and Corning is reported to have developed the flexible glass technology. The issue for Apple will be if they can introduce this potentially new and revolutionary product as well (or close to it) as Steve Jobs did for the previous three categories.

Second, the successful introduction of the iWatch has the power to negate the current pressure onApples stock. Over the last six months, Apples stock has fallen 35% because investors believe that Apple cant innovate any more and that Apple will continue to lose against Samsung/Googles competitive threat. Back in September, Apple traded at what then seemed like unbelievably low multiples of 10.5x forward earnings (less cash).
